First Screenshots of the brand new Wolfenstein™ Game Quote: With Quakecon 2008 in Dallas coming soon, all Eyes are on the Enemy Territory:Quake Wars Tournaments but that could change very fast cause now there are rumours about RtCW² being unveiled. An very friendly Guy on the YoYoGamesForum managed to get his Hands on the GameInformer (an Magazine)which features a *World Exclusive* first look at the brand new Wolfenstein™ game, and being a nice & friendly Guy he scanned the Pages about the Wolfenstein Game for us. Thanks for that! | I like the look of it Don't judge it too hard since that are the very very first Screenshots of it. Quote: id Software(TM) and Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI - News) confirmed at Microsoft's X05 event in Amsterdam that the newest installment in the legendary Wolfenstein® series is being developed for the Xbox 360(TM) video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PC. The companies also confirmed that Activision, Inc. will be the worldwide licensed distributor of Wolfenstein, currently in development by Raven Software and executive produced by id Software. id Software's newest chapter in the legendary Wolfenstein series delivers players deep behind the enemy lines of a war-torn Germany, where Nazi experiments with technology and the supernatural threaten to turn the tide of World War II. Utilizing a revolutionary new graphics technology targeted specifically at next generation hardware, the new Wolfenstein experience will draw players into a world of unmatched exploration, action, and espionage. | Some more Information I've just found on the www: Quote: | Originally Posted by MaxConsole.net Maxconsole.net World Premiere is Wolfenstein (360, PS3, PC) * Pub: Activision, Dev: Raven Software/ID Software * Engine: iDtech 4 * Takes place in WWII against Nazi's fully dabbling in the occult * BJ (the hero) will also make use of supernatural powers. * Game gives you a city in which the game takes place. Think of the resistance forces in MGS4 I guess? * You will also enter "The Shroud", an alternate reality version of the city. A dimension in which the Nazi's are drawing power from. Screens wise, it looks like a very nice looking game. I'm particularly impressed by the lighting in the game. It looks very good. I'm sure scans will show up somewhere soon for everyone to see (now, that's not a hint that I'm scanning it. I'm not). | Quote: | Originally Posted by GameInformer Magazine GameInformer That’s right, it’s back. The game that started the shooter revolution—Wolfenstein. CoD also plays in the WWII. What do you expect from RtCW²? To look the same as ET or RtCW which is 5+ Years old? Games, Engines, Graphics are getting better and better each Year. For me all Screens, Trailers and stuff i've seen about the new Wolfenstein, just look like RtCW1 SP, there were monster shit and sci-fi stuff too. It's just RtCW with better Graphics. I definitely will play this Game, cause it plays in WWII Scenario. I just hope that it will have such a fast Gameplay ET & RtCW had, that's all what Counts for me. Graphics and look of the Game is not that important, i hope they will stick to the fast Movement of ET (Q3) + the Maps won't be as big as the ones of ETQW. No vehicles. MapTime of maximum 10-12 Minutes, max. 2-3 Stages. What do you think? What do you expect from RtCW²? What do you want to be changed in the new Game? I am sure all the unnecessary scifi stuff is going to get removed from the MP Part with any kind of Mods etc. Last edited by mystic : 17th July 2008 at 00:34 | | The following user says Thank You to mystic for this useful post: | | 17th July 2008, 00:58 | | | | Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Das Land Der Warmen Herzen Posts: 74 Groans: 0 Groaned at 0 Times in 0 Posts Thanks: 30 Thanked 37 Times in 19 Posts | | looks realy cool the grafic are extrem nice made Wolfenstein - Traditional Combat02.jpg but the hands looks like wax -.- | 17th July 2008, 02:44 | | :,-{ | | Join Date: Jun 2006 Posts: 577 Groans: 4 Groaned at 0 Times in 0 Posts Thanks: 182 Thanked 294 Times in 164 Posts | | |
