[Release] nC ET Unbanner

[Banned User]

Nothing special, it does the following.

Features:

• Punkbuster Unbanner - Unban yourself after a punkbuster kick/ban (Does not unban from subnet bans)
• votekick unbanner - Get rid of the annoying 2 minute wait after a votekick from a server
• Auto-Reconnect - Automatically reconnect after you have been unbanned
• Name Changer - Automatically change your name to a random choice

Changes since first release:

• Added choice for custom path of etkey (Will still delete your profile key on Vista)

Troubleshooting:

• "I see weird commands in my ET Console" - Close your console in-game before using the tool
• "I use full-screen mode so can't unban myself" - Either wait for the global unbanner key (that will work anywhere) or get a bigger screen and run in windowed mode

Please report any bugs here!! Note that this tool does not and can not unban you from Jaymod on it's own.

Never dealt with PBBans but I'm assuming it only streams bans on a GUID basis, so yes, it will remove them if I'm correct.

Yes it only works for ET as it changes your etkey, might release for other non-cd key ran games.

Like a site like yawn, if you just change pb guid, then you can still click on the persons etpro guid and you will see the ban.

No it won't, it doesn't touch the game, sends calls to the 'ET Console' window (which you can't see) and deletes/copies files, nothing more to it

You need the .NET Framework (V3.0 I think, but get 3.5 considering it's the latest version and it can't do you any harm )

Does this tool do the same as f12 in private etBot or is it slightly different?

How do I use this? I know my way around et pretty good and exe programs but I just don't have an idea on where I install it at and how I run it. Help would be great. thanks

Extract it, run the tool, then start ET. When you get banned / kicked flip to the tool and choose the functions you need, then click Unban.

Ok when I try to run it, it says, "To run this application, you frist must install one of the followng versions of the .NET Framework; v2.0.50727. Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the approiate version of the .NET Framework.

thx, well i already added an unban function which renames the etkey to etkey.bak, gets a new etkey from pb and then reconnects to the server with a new randomised guid.. i hoped that you got another unban function because net_restart isn't working @ *nix :l

No problem but can you define not working? I believe that's the only way etmain tracks you, you are doing net_port RANDOMNUMBERS;net_restart and not just net_restart, right?

not working means that net_restart is an unknown command ;x and without net_restart is changing the port useless

I've downloaded and run it but when i get kicked, I min out of ET and select the appropriate boxes and I'm getting the same error as GeddoN whereas - net_restart is an unknown command...

Could you be able to tell us exactly what this program does - where it goes to do it - what it deletes/renews?

If you don't I can understand but I'm just having some problems with it... maybe PM?
