By no means is scanning entire all virtual memory a bug.

I see this as not a malicious attempt by nC to ban innocent players, but simply meant to demonstrate Even Balance's desperation and PB's poor design.

I don't see how Even Balance cannot publically address this issue. Assuming they do, watch it start of with "There has been some talk in the cheat community..." which is pathetic in itself - innocent players banned here and shelling out unnecessary cash due to PB's poor design. PB should be professional software.

It's about time that non-cheaters finally come to acknowledge that PunkBuster is rubbish and is doing nothing to help them but rather spy on them and in the process ban them. I always thought that PB was a shockingly rubbish piece of software, but I really am surprised that they're this low.

So, as bugg3r stated on crossfire, certain strings can be sent in order to kick players for different things. Does this mean, that all kicks in the previous weeks for GAMEHACK or MULTIHACK which are not caused by a specific file could be down to this? Making all kicks for this invalid?

What amazes me is that some people still don't relise that PunkBuster is spyware and is inflicting on a user's privacy, these people go around calling the nC community names and worshipping Tony Ray and his fellow co-workers, yet are oblivious that their RAM is being completely scanned and what not.
